Curry leaves resembles a small narrow bay leaf, but much more aromatic with a distinct taste that enhances curry dishes.Since they lose their delicate fragrance when dried, you should try to obtain them fresh; don't waste your time with the dried stuff!
Fresh curry leaves are usually found in Asian stores espacially in Indian shops, in plastic bags in the refrigerator. They keep very well, but if not using the whole amount within a couple of weeks, keep then in the freezer in a ziploc bag.
